Get up and dance to Myrna as she performs and close the night with Jazz crooner, Jabari as he entertains with a wonderful program of jazz standards. In 1996, after winning a nationwide talent contest on BET, she was signed by Andre Harrell with a Motown recording contract. Lola has shared the stage with The Pointed Sisters, Bobby Womack, Bobby “Blue” Bland and more. Lola returns to Tower Stage as a crowd favorite from last year bringing with her more original songs, high powered keyboards and her deeply soulful, rich and powerful voice. Saturday, August 12 featuring The Sidemen: Bringing an amazing summer lineup of music to a close, The Sidemen Band brings together some of Atlanta’s finest session musicians for Rock N Roll in August. When not working as The Sidemen for other artists the band comes together to simply play music they grew up listening to. Music spanning four decades and beyond: 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s and more. Join this camaraderie among brothers as they play favorites from decades past and more.
