Through four decades, the Vinings Village Homeowners Association has faced a variety of challenges from zoning to traffic and from over-commercialization to historical preservation. The management of these challenges has been as diverse as the times in which they appeared.
Today, the VVHA partners with Cobb County Board of Commissioner and staff in bringing solutions to issues through cooperative problem solving. The VVHA represents Vinings Village homeowners in achieving what individual homeowners could not accomplish alone.

Many of you may know Mr. Marion Blackwell, a native of Atlanta and a long time resident of Vinings. Mr. Blackwell has written many essays and stories for Georgia Backroads, The AJC, The Landmarker, Friends Journal and Loftlife and he is an avid historian and supporter of VHPS. Marion has published his first book and we are very proud to have the book on sale at the Vinings Historic Preservation Center! His book is a fascinating cross section of short stories about the Civil War, Atlanta area history, his passion for hiking, his long real estate career, and other topics. Join the Vinings Historic Preservation Society as they salute "National Ice Cream Day". On Sunday, July 17th come to the Old Pavilion on Paces Mill Road for the VHPS's Annual Ice Cream Social. This event is sponsored by Coldstone Creamery and will take place from 1:00-3:00pm. If you are a member of the VHPS your admission will be free, for anyone 12 years or older admission will be $4.00.

The Second Annual Vinings Business Expo attracted almost 600 people to the Courtyard Marriott in Vinings on Tuesday, April 19.
Many of the visitors came to network with the 30 Vinings-area businesses represented at the expo including Sprint, Gas South, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Vinings Jubilee, Cobb News and Views and First Citizens Bank.
“We want to give the businesses that exhibit in the expo an opportunity to grow their business and make new contacts in Vinings,” said Glenn Christian, Vinings Business Association president.
